About Pure Purple

“The UK’s most Faithful Tribute to MKII Deep Purple”

Featured on “Monsters of Mock” album - release date September 2008

"Any proprietors out there who want to give a Deep Purple evening a try, I’d look no further than Pure Purple for enthusiasm, poise, application and stage presence. It’s what a tribute should be." Hotel California, Birkenhead.

Besides a very high standard of musicianship Pure Purple play some of the greatest ever rock songs in the world written and performed by the all time favourite MKII line-up of Deep Purple, Gillan, Glover, Blackmore, Lord and Paice. Pure Purple perform their songs with the same infectious energy and passion as Deep Purple did in the 1970’s. Pure Purple have gone to great lengths to sound as authentic as possible too with Marshal Amps, Hammond Organ, Fender Guitars and Leslie Speakers and are constantly trying to improve the performance which is never taken for granted. Pure Puprle don’t try to look like Deep Purple did in 1972, (neither do they come to think of it), but do try very hard to play and sound like them.

On top of every effort to sound as close and as authentic as possible to the original Deep Purple, Pure Purple also have a light show that is talked about at every gig. With plenty of smoke and laser lights expertly controlled you can’t fail to have a good time.
